A Career in Health Sciences
A degree in health science serves two purposes: as an undergraduate, it will prepare you for medical or dental school, as well as a career in medical or biological research. And as someone already working in the medical field as, say, a dental hygienist or a physician assistant, it will not only afford you the opportunity to do your job better, but also to possibly parlay your current work experience into a career as a doctor or dentist with assistants of your own.

The ACT
ACT is an independent, not-for-profit organization that provides more than a hundred assessment, research, information, and program management services in the broad areas of education and workforce development.

In 2005, ACT began offering multimedia services appropriate for the classroom, homeschool students, business and industry, and on-the-job instruction at the Office for Distance Learning Resources.

Each year, ACT serves millions of people in elementary and secondary schools, colleges, professional associations, businesses, and government agencies, nationally and internationally. ACT has offices across the United States and throughout the world.

The ACT exam is the best indicator of college-level readiness for high school students.  It will be our primary performance metric.
