Parent Involvement (as defined by the National PTA) is the participation of parents in every facet of the education and development of children from birth to adulthood, recognizing that parents are the primary influence in their children’s lives. Vision Statement Goal-driven – Compassionate – Devoted Mission Statement The mission of MAHS 100 Parent Council is to empower families to support students in the pursuit of excellence in all aspects of their adolescent development. * * * * * * * * * * * * MAHS 100 Parent Council is the parent organization for the Memphis Academy of Health Sciences (MAHS). The Council operates as a 12 member council and represents first and foremost the parents and children of MAHS.
The purpose of the MAHS 100 Parent Council is to encourage parent and public involvement in the school and to improve the relationship between home and school.
